Set up passkeys and account protection

Use Face ID, Touch ID or your device PIN for fast, phishing-resistant workspace sign-in, with email verification available for recovery.

In this guide

Set up and use a passkey

  1. On business sign-in, enter your email and choose Continue. If a passkey is available, choose Continue with passkey. If no passkey is available, enter your password and complete email verification. You can also choose Use password and email code from the first screen.

  2. On the email-code screen, leave Keep me signed in on this device selected to stay signed in for three days on a trusted browser. Clear it for an eight-hour session on a shared device. When the email arrives, tap the six-digit code field to enter its code or use a device suggestion for this sign-in address. Signing out ends the session on that device; other signed-in devices stay available.

  3. From Profile, select Set up a passkey. Wait for passkey preparation to finish, then select Set up a passkey and follow your device prompt for Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your device PIN. If preparation fails, select Try passkey setup again. Your biometric data never leaves your device.

  4. On later workspace sign-ins, enter your email, choose Continue, then Continue with passkey. Your device verifies you without a password or copied code.

Recover or manage access

  1. If your passkey device is unavailable, use your password and the six-digit code sent to your verified email address.

  2. Add or remove devices from Profile, Passkeys and sign-in. Add a second device if you want another convenient sign-in option.

  3. After sign-in, select Set up a passkey or choose Not now to continue to your workspace. Select Don’t ask me again only if you want to stop future setup reminders. You can always open Profile, Passkeys and sign-in to set up or manage a passkey later.

  4. Platform administrators still use their required authenticator-app method for administrative access.

Keep your account protected

  1. After successful verification, Schedmo returns you to the page you were trying to open.

  2. Multi-factor authentication is also required before permanent personal-account deletion. Complete setup first, then return to Profile and recheck deletion readiness.

  3. Never share passwords or verification codes with Schedmo support or another team member.
