Measure marketing campaign results
Understand tracked clicks, attributed bookings and revenue, and the difference between acceptance, delivery and engagement.
In this guide
Review delivery and engagement
Open Marketing and review measurement for the campaign you want to assess. Choose the campaign and reporting period before comparing results.
Review delivery activity separately from engagement. Accepted means the provider accepted a message; delivery and click events describe later outcomes. Email opens can be inflated by privacy tools and automated scanners.
Understand booking attribution
Booking attribution uses the last recorded eligible marketing click and a booking within 7 days of that click. The booking may occur more than 7 days after the message was sent. Only confirmed and completed appointments count; cancelled, pending and no-show appointments are excluded. A booking is credited to one campaign.
Use the tracked links supplied by the campaign. SMS links also carry tracking. An untracked visit or a booking outside the attribution rules should not be assumed to belong to the campaign.
Compare and share results
Compare the same date range and campaign selection. Booked appointment value is distinct from collected revenue. Attributed revenue and ROAS use net recorded payments for completed appointments; applied refunds reduce revenue and future or unpaid appointments contribute none. ROAS is that revenue divided by campaign dispatch cost; no spend displays a dash. These rules show attribution, not proof that the campaign alone caused a purchase.
Use Reports → Booking channels for wider booking-source reporting. That view answers a different question from campaign attribution, so totals need not match.
